Welcome to my blog! I am new at this,So please bear with me!
A little about myself, I am a Mom of 4.. 3 Boys and 1 girl…ages 16 to 30, Anyone who knows me, knows my kids are my world. My third child has Marfans and my youngest is Autistic. I was a single Mom for many years, and I know the struggles first hand, that so many face. I have seen some tough times that have tested me to the max and have seen some amazing times.
I decided to start this blog/business about Turning Autism into Awesomism, to not only help others but to allow my family to be able to work through some of the toughest of times and see them in a positive light.
Together I want us all to explore so many of the challenges Autism families face, as well as the triumphs.
My blog will be about so many different topics, we will examine the tough times and try to find solutions to those, not just for some, but for as many as we can. We will also celebrate the great times and what is available.
I have an amazing network and am going to tap into it. I will have interviews with everyone from Stay-at-home Moms who homeschool, to CEO’s of major Corporations, as well as politicians who make decisions that affect our lives daily.We will offer tips and support as well as set up an awesome network available to everyone. Our goals are to help as many as we can in whatever we can!
I decided to do this as a business rather than as a charity, because I want to be able to take stands and help as many as I can without worrying about “repercussions”. We will work hand in hand with several charities as well.
